Spring 2013 Spanish 302 History /Phonetic Structure Spanish Language
I grew up with my family who only spoke Spanish. All of my friends generally have been Spanish speakers. The thing is I thought I knew Spanish when I went into the required classes for my Spanish Major. Understand, that this class as well as the previous called Introduction to Spanish Linguistics took me by surprise. I was surprised by the specifics of the knowledge I had to acquirer in such a short time. Don't misunderstand, I fully enjoyed both of the classes clearly it was no review for me. New information all the way through the class. I learned to identify that the position in our mouth is very important when we pronounce letters of the alphabet, syllables and words. I learned to identify the ones that make no noise and the ones that do not. I learned so much the information is too much to mention in this essay.
