Terms
I studied at CSUMB during 2012, 2013 and 2014 ~ and enrolled in courses required for my Major......
Navigate between terms using menu above, I have not included all classes taken.
Aslthough I mention Spanish 302, Spanish 395 and other classes taken by far my favorite class of the entire major was Spanish 315 because interpreting is my passion. I deal with the spoken word and wanted to get to know the written word a little more. Meaning I wanted to find out a little more about the process of translating from one language to another. As translators say it, "translating from the original language to the target language."
Because I did take Spanish 315 I feel more capable of taking on written assignment. Meaning depending on the vocabulary used and how familiar I feel I will be able to help those people that need a document to be translated. Getting to know the translating methods definitely helped me getting a better grip of what it is to translate from one language to another. Meanwhile I will continue to prepare or educate myself about the translating subject either on my own or getting additional education.
